Petco Park, The Golf Course?

Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres made an agreement with the Callaway golf company and will be hosting a nine-hole event for any golfer that signs up, although there are limited spots as it was first come, first serve. 1,500 people will hit the links starting on Thursday and golf in a baseball stadium. Padres President and CEO responded, "I was surprised a little (at the turnout), but I thought it would be popular -- that people would dig the novelty of it, but I think what people are going to be surprised at is it's not something you want to do once. We hope to do this every year. It's cool to play. It's challenging golf, you're taking full swings, the conditions out here, there's wind, there's sand traps, there's elements". The holes start in the upper decks of the stadiums and the actual holes are located on the field. Here's a look at the course map:

2015 World Series Champions: Kansas City Royals

Royals Win It All

The Kansas City Royals won the World Series on Sunday night beating the New York Mets 7-2 in game five in twelve innings. Royals Catcher Salvador Perez was named World Series MVP hitting .364 with two doubles, two RBI's and scoring three runs. The New York Mets made many errors in games one and five that were critical to the Royals' success. If the Mets did not make any errors in the series, they could have made this series even, or could have won the series. That tells you how perfect you have to be to win a baseball game, a game of failure and errors. The Royals had a parade Monday afternoon in the streets of Kansas City, and the fans showed nothing short of unbelievable support. Below is a picture of the streets from above.
