The Kansas City Royals won the World Series on Sunday night beating the New York Mets 7-2 in game five in twelve innings. Royals Catcher Salvador Perez was named World Series MVP hitting .364 with two doubles, two RBI's and scoring three runs. The New York Mets made many errors in games one and five that were critical to the Royals' success. If the Mets did not make any errors in the series, they could have made this series even, or could have won the series. That tells you how perfect you have to be to win a baseball game, a game of failure and errors. The Royals had a parade Monday afternoon in the streets of Kansas City, and the fans showed nothing short of unbelievable support. Below is a picture of the streets from above.
This is awesome! Good for them!
