Bud Black to Manage The Washington Nationals in 2016

The Washington Nationals hired former San Diego Padres Manager Bud Black on Wednesday, to take the reigns in the Nations Capital. Black will take over for Matt Williams who managed the Nationals in 2014 and 2015. Williams won National League Manager of the Year in 2014, but the Nationals failed to make the playoffs in 2015 after a disappointing season. Bud Black managed the San Diego Padres for almost nine year and had a record of 649-713. Black won the NL Manager of the Year in 2010 when he guided the Padres to a 90-72 record, although he never got San Diego to the playoffs.
